This wasn't an overly elaborate shoot or anything, but it did require me to drive almost 8 hours to do it, so I wanted to make sure it wasn't just a simple one costume, one location shoot.
We started out from Windsor, NS, got a couple shots outside an old textile factory then headed into Wolfville. We were able to get a lot just at one location, Acadia University - neither of us had really been there before so we got a good parking spot and were able to find a lot of little spots just a couple minutes from where we parked. We could have probably wandered for hours shooting there - but this wasn't the main point of the shoot and I was on a schedule.
After this we headed through Kentville to an old cemetery. I wanted to do some weird with this part of the shoot, the weirdest - and simplest - thing I came up with was a quick swimsuit shoot.
It wasn't until after this part of the shoot I noticed one of the horns had completely pulled off the model's forehead - it wasn't until I got home I noticed it had been that way for this entire part of the shoot. So there's lots of photoshop going on here - that makeup started to look a bit rougher as the day went on as well, it was pretty warm out.
